The Pen And Paper Anarchist-- Act 2--Scene 2.

In the publishers office Mr Fitz is sitting and reading through a pile of manuscripts.He smoke a cigar in his mouth looking impressive.His Secretary Carlie come in with a cup of tea for him.
Carlie--"Good morning Mr Fitz.Nice morning innit."
Fitz--"Have I got appointment to see anyone today Carlie?"
Carlie--"Yes there is this writer coming to see you about publishing.He hasn't arrive yet."
Fitz--"Blasted author I hate these guys.They think the whole world is living on their expense."
Carlie--"They think they are the intellectuals of the society the reformers of the present age."
Fitz--"Intellectuals my ass!! Reformers my foot!!! They can think what ever they like of themselves but I think they are just scroungers.Scroungers of my money they are.Its true."
Carlie--"May be so but they write lovely romantic novels though.Whenever I read them they make me fly in to strange romantic landscape meeting with tall dark and handsome hunks who would carry me to a beautiful palace on horseback and make intensive love."
Fitz--"My God girl you are  barmy.Living in a coo-coo land and believing the lies of those writers.Get a grip of yourself and come back to reality."
Carlie--"I am only 21 years old Mr Fitz.For a young girl of my age it is most appropriate to think about romance and adventures."
Fitz--"For a young girl of your age the best thing is to look for a good paying job and a rich husband who could support you rather than day dreaming."
Carlie--"Your tea is getting cold Mr Fitz and I must be off to do some paper works."
Carlie exit.........
